Feed the Bees Please!

Wildflower Aromatic Mix. Wildflower Pollinator Mix. Wildflower Butterfly and Songbird Mix. Wildflower Bouquet Mix. Wildflower Butterfly and Hummingbird Mix. What do you choose? Well BEESPLZ chose all of the above and went with 10 lbs. of each variety. Now it is going to take some time for the planting of seed to develop into forage for the bees. In the mean time we will be feeding the new packages of bees a sugar and water syrup made from equal parts of sugar and water.

The local environment has some signs of spring and potential bee ready food sources but they are slim. The sources at this time are relegated to trees and some weeds that have woken up. Then again, they will forage up to 3 miles for a desirable food source.

Reaching out to our audience to go ahead and PLANT! The time is now to add forage to your local landscape for our friends the bees to feast upon. You will be amazed at how your landscape improves with the addition of bee pollination services. You add the plant species, we can add the bees. Just make sure the forage you plant is one that you will love to observe. These flower gardens are going to be around for some time especially when the bees discover their nectars so make sure you LOVE the look you are creating for you as well as the bees.

You could go with a temporary placement of a hive on your property on a monthly basis or you could go with our BeeFriend Education Program and have the hive on your property for the entire season. We place, feed, inspect and maintain the colony throughout the season and you get a sweet reward come harvest time. 5 lbs. of truly local, purely harvested and packaged honey directly from the hive in your yard.
